Ange Anderson, M.Ed.is a SEND consultant and advisor specialising in therapeutic and technological interventions for children with additional learning needs.

She ran a dyslexic centre on the weekends in addition to being in the leadership team of three very different special schools during the 1990s and early 2000’s. She is  the  former headteacher of a leading special school (for ten years until mid 2019 ) and an inspector of special schools. She has an M.Ed in SEN, an NPQH in leadership and PGDip in Dyslexia. She is passionate about the rights of the children and young adults she has worked with and her dream is to inspire nationwide after school provision for those who have complex needs so that their right to lifelong learning is upheld.

She now supports schools, nurseries, and families across the UK and internationally — both in person and online.

Ange is also the special needs advisor for a global virtual reality company, helping to shape accessible design for education and therapy. She has authored several books on play, VR, trampolining for SEN, and the importance of music for SEN, as well as numerous papers and articles on therapeutic intervention. Her work has been featured internationally through conferences, podcasts, collaborations, and research in special education.
